Zach Bryan found himself in legal trouble when he was arrested in Vinita, Oklahoma, facing charges of obstruction. According to TMZ, Bryan was taken into custody at Craig County Jail on September 7, where he was charged with “Obstruction Of Investigation.” Subsequently, he was released on bond.

TMZ also noted that a photo on Bryan’s Instagram Story depicted a view of farmland through a car window, accompanied by the caption, “On the road again, gonna go see the birds win.” It’s worth mentioning that Bryan is an ardent Philadelphia Eagles fan, and the team had a game scheduled against the Patriots in Massachusetts that Sunday. It’s possible that Bryan was en route to the game when the incident occurred.

Taking to Twitter, Bryan shared a statement to address the incident:

“Today, I had an encounter with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me, and I made statements that were out of line.

I want to make it clear that I support law enforcement just as much as anyone can. My actions were fueled by a momentary frustration, and it was uncharacteristic of me. I apologize for my behavior. They took me into custody, and there is now a mug shot of me circulating.

I hope we can all move past this incident, and I hope people understand that I’m doing my best. I love you all, and I am genuinely sorry to the officers involved.”
