Noah Knigga Verbally Commits to Eastern Michigan

Another SEI star is heading to the MAC.
Lawrenceburg, Ind. – After garnering interest from numerous D-1 schools, Noah Knigga has made his decision.
The three-star linebacker from Lawrenceburg announced his verbal commitment to Eastern Michigan University on Friday.
Knigga chose Eastern Michigan over West Virginia and Arkansas State, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
A standout player for the Tigers, Knigga was a Class 3A Junior All-State selection in 2023. Despite an early-season hamstring injury, he amassed 51 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, and two forced fumbles in just six games.
Looking ahead to his senior season, Knigga has been named to the Indiana Football Digest Prime Time 25 list, highlighting him as one of the best players in the state.
Knigga is the third local athlete in recent memory to commit to a MAC school. East Central’s Josh Ringer and Ryan Brotherton will be freshmen this fall at Miami (OH) and Western Michigan, respectively.
