On June 10, BELIFT LAB released a video attempting to “dispute” the plagiarism accusations made against them amidst the ongoing feud between HYBE Labels and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. However, their efforts to disprove these allegations have backfired spectacularly. People have been left bewildered and critical of the “bizarre” video, which has only further tarnished the label’s reputation. Their so-called “proof” against plagiarism ranges from confusing to downright upsetting, including their controversial “sexualization” of the NewJeans members in an attempt to argue that the audience for them differs from ILLIT.
