Adorable Video Captures Elk Playing Soccer with Kids in Evergreen

Evergreen, Colo — Have you ever played soccer with an elk? Well, two kids in Colorado can now say they have! Viewer Shira Moffatt shared an adorable video of two young boys enjoying a playful soccer game with an elk perched on a ridge above their driveway.

In the heartwarming video, the elk curiously kicks a red soccer ball, sending it rolling down the ridge to one of the boys. The boy eagerly throws the ball back up, and the elk, intrigued, rushes over to sniff and stomp at it. The ball eventually rolls back down, and the fun sequence repeats.

Safe Play with Wildlife

Colorado Parks and Wildlife assured that the kids maintained a safe distance from the elk during this unique encounter.
