Chris Brown is brimming with confidence as he talks about facing off against J. Cole on the basketball court.
In a recent interview on Club Shay Shay, the “Run It” star discussed the possibility of going head-to-head with Cole for the title of the top basketball player in Hip Hop.
While Brown acknowledged Cole’s improvement as a player, he remained steadfast in his belief that he could come out victorious in a one-on-one matchup.
“I’m still not gonna doubt me now. Give me a week of practice and I think I got him. I think I’ma get J. Cole though,” he asserted. “I would love to do that. I’m saying that humbly though because J. Cole is an incredible player. If I’m serious about it I’ll play, most of the time I’m trying to have fun. But I’m not taking the L, I gotta do that.”
The stakes were raised when Shannon Sharpe proposed a $100,000 winner-take-all prize to ensure Brown’s full commitment to the game. Without hesitation, Brown accepted the challenge, expressing his confidence that he would emerge victorious, even stating that Cole stood “no chance.”
